LIQUID FIRE Sadness is thinking of Love separated by darkness and death. But Love lives in that moment when darkness gives into light. In this twilight is where we find the pulse of spirit. And this revolution of time is eternal. Sometimes I lose sight of this marvelous truth. And I find myself chasing the light, getting lost in the darkness. It’s only when I close my eyes that I can truly see. And the effervescent glow of His soul leads me through. Like branches of a tree spiraling upwards and out, He reaches for me. As the canopy of leaves shades the forest floor, His grace provides shelter. In this fierce, sensual, and earthy world, I orient myself to His spiritual heat. Love, as tangible & grounded as a garden, as it is energized & mutable as liquid fire. In the arms of my angel I sigh. In the eyes of my angel I shine. In the heart of my angel I laugh.
